Little Risk-Takers with Open Minds

Last Friday, we came together for a special General Assembly, where we celebrated our little learners who demonstrated the IB PYP Learner Profile attribute of being Risk-Takers throughout the month.

With great excitement, we presented certificates to our children who showed the courage to try new things, embrace challenges, and overcome their fears with confidence and enthusiasm. We are so proud of every little step they take as they explore, grow, and learn!

During our assembly, we also introduced a new Learner Profile attribute: Open-Minded. Through our children’s ideas and reflections, we explored the importance of listening to others, respecting different opinions, trying new experiences, and learning from people and cultures around the world.

It was a wonderful opportunity to discover how being open-minded helps us appreciate our differences, learn from one another, and see the world through new perspectives.

At Tomasito, we continue to nurture these important PYP attributes, helping our children grow into curious, courageous, respectful learners who are always eager to discover and learn.

El pasado viernes compartimos un emocionante Minuto Cívico, en el que reconocimos a nuestros chiquis que durante este mes demostraron ser Audaces, uno de los atributos del Perfil de la Comunidad de Aprendizaje del PEP.

Con mucha alegría, entregamos diplomas a quienes se animaron a explorar nuevas experiencias, enfrentar desafíos y superar sus temores con valentía y entusiasmo. ¡Felicitamos a nuestros pequeños por cada paso que dan para descubrir, crecer y aprender!

Durante este encuentro también presentamos un nuevo atributo: Mentalidad Abierta. A través de las ideas y reflexiones de nuestros chiquis, conversamos sobre la importancia de escuchar a los demás, respetar diferentes opiniones, descubrir nuevas experiencias y aprender de otras personas y culturas.

Fue una linda oportunidad para recordar que tener una mentalidad abierta nos permite valorar nuestras diferencias, aprender unos de otros y descubrir nuevas formas de ver el mundo.

En Tomasito seguimos cultivando estos atributos del PEP, acompañando a nuestros niños para que crezcan como personas curiosas, valientes, respetuosas y siempre dispuestas a aprender.
