Dad and Me: A Team at Heart

On June 17, our First Grade students enjoyed a very special morning with their fathers as part of our Father’s Day celebration. Inspired by the excitement of the FIFA World Cup, the children participated in fun soccer-themed activities that allowed them to play, collaborate, and create meaningful memories together.

Through this experience, the children strengthened skills such as teamwork, autonomy, a sense of belonging, and oral communication. They also had the opportunity to express their love, admiration, and gratitude for their fathers, demonstrating the Communicator attribute of the PYP Learner Profile by sharing their thoughts and feelings in an authentic way.

It was a joyful day filled with teamwork, laughter, and unforgettable moments that celebrated the important role fathers play in the lives of our students.

El pasado 17 de junio, los estudiantes de Primero de Básica compartieron una mañana muy especial junto a sus papás para celebrar el Día del Padre. Inspirados en la emoción del Mundial de Fútbol, participaron en divertidas actividades deportivas que les permitieron disfrutar, colaborar y crear recuerdos significativos en familia.

A través de esta experiencia, los niños fortalecieron habilidades como el trabajo en equipo, la autonomía, el sentido de pertenencia y la expresión oral. Además, tuvieron la oportunidad de expresar el cariño, la admiración y el agradecimiento que sienten por sus papás, poniendo en práctica el atributo Comunicadores del perfil PEP al compartir sus pensamientos y emociones de manera auténtica.

Fue una jornada llena de alegría, compañerismo y momentos inolvidables que celebraron el importante papel que los padres desempeñan en la vida de nuestros estudiantes.
