Celebrating Excellence in IELTS Academic 2025–2026

For four consecutive years, Tomás Moro International School has implemented the IELTS Academic examination for 2nd Baccalaureate students, consolidating an important educational partnership with International House Quito and strengthening our commitment to internationally recognized English certification.

Today, our school community came together for a special School Assembly to celebrate the outstanding 2025–2026 IELTS results: 100% of our students achieved the expected international proficiency levels, with 45% reaching B2 and an exceptional 55% achieving C1 Advanced level.

We were honored by the presence of Ben Jones, Acting Director and Head of Teacher at International House Quito, who congratulated our students on their remarkable achievement and highlighted the significance of their results.

One of the most meaningful moments of the ceremony came when Rebeca Gómez Jurado spoke on behalf of the C1 students, sharing a few words about their IELTS journey and accomplishment.

The celebration concluded with the presentation of Certificates of Achievement to our C1 students, handed out by Ben Jones together with Paula Pacheco, the teacher who guided and prepared this cohort throughout their IELTS journey.
